Exzycke 6PCS Geometric Props Review: Versatile Studio Geometry

The Exzycke 6PCS Product Photography Props set features six irregular geometric cubes finished in a grain white texture. These props arrive in a middle size category, with the entire kit weighing 1.08 kg, making them manageable for frequent repositioning. The construction consists of hollow wood material that has been hand-painted to emulate a realistic grain finish. This material choice prioritizes portability over the density found in solid stone or metal posing blocks, which helps when setting up a shoot on a standard table surface.

The waterproof surface is a practical addition, allowing for quick cleanups if liquid spills occur during creative staging for beverage or food photography. Because the cubes are lightweight, users can easily rearrange them to build different heights and depths for various camera angles. This versatility is necessary for those who need to create multiple compositions without requiring a large, dedicated studio space.

Buyers should verify if these specific shapes align with their brand aesthetic, as the irregular geometric style leans toward modern, minimalist product displays. Unlike heavy concrete or ceramic props that stay firmly in place, these hollow wood cubes may shift if not properly secured on slippery surfaces. The lack of varied color options means photographers are committed to a grain white palette, which may limit versatility for darker, moody product shots without post-processing adjustments.

Since the material is hollow wood, users should exercise caution to avoid heavy impacts that could dent the surface or chip the paint. Buy it if you need an affordable, lightweight solution to add verticality and visual interest to small-scale product photography setups. Skip it if you require the heft and tactile permanence of stone or metal props, or if you need a specific color palette beyond white.
